Board and Staff

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Tumbler Ridge Children's Center Society is a non-profit organization. In order for the center to continue operating a volunteer parent board must be established. The board meets on the 3 rd Wednesday of every month and everyone is welcomed! The Annual General Meeting will take place in the month of September. 

The members of the 2017-2018 Board of Directors are:

TRCCS Staff 

Staff are to be fully qualified Early Childhood Educators or have education and training equivalent or related to the field. Staff who are not certified are required to gain knowledge, education and training towards their certification. Staff are required to hold standard Child Safe and CPR, have a successful criminal record check and medical clearance forms. Our staff are professionals who are dedicated to providing quality programming and nurturing environment.

 

 

Amanda Blunden:

 

Hi, My name is Amanda and I've been working in/with the Children's Centre for over 6 years. During those years I have had the pleasure of working in all the programs offered; after school care, daycare, preschool, multi age and have also worked as a support worker. I'm very excited to be taking on the assistant role in the preschool this year. I am continuing my education through online college courses and hope to complete my Early Childhood Education in the next few years. I would like to thank the families for the encouragment and welcoming me into every program I have been in.

 

Becky Dudley:

 

Hey! I'm Becky and I am currently the Preschool Supervisor as well work in the Multi Age Program . I moved to Tumbler Ridge in October 2016, I graduated from Vancouver Island Univeristy with my Early Childhood Diploma in 2010. I also have my Bachelor's Degree in Child and Youth Care specializing in Child Protection from Vancouver Island University graduating in 2013. My passion is working with children of all ages, as I feel each age group has something new and is constantly exploring. I am super excited to be working with you and your children here at TRCCS.
